Amy Schumer Announces Split from Husband of Seven Years
Entertainer Amy Schumer has revealed that she and her spouse, culinary expert Chris Fischer are divorcing following a seven-year union.
The actress said in a social media post on recently, alongside a photo of the two of them on the subway, that they had made the "challenging resolution" to split and will keep prioritizing caring for their six-year-old son.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she expressed.
The 44-year-old Schumer and 45-year-old Fischer, have been married since February 2018 and had their son a year later.

The star quipped in the Instagram post that the split is unrelated to her shedding pounds and not on account of Fischer being a "decorated cook who can still attract attention".
He received the prestigious James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his 2015 cookbook focusing on Martha's Vineyard cuisine.

The pair collaborated on the Food Network reality show Learning to Cook with Amy Schumer, which aired during the Covid pandemic.
They also shared the screen during a film series Expecting Amy that chronicled Schumer's experience, who has been candid concerning having endometriosis, during her difficult pregnancy.
